In Norway, it is normal to count an academic hour as 45 minutes in schools and universities. We also use this rule at Lingu for all live classes (online and in person). However, there can be some differences depending on the type of program you attend.
Instructor-led (live) online classes
1 hour = 45 minutes
Instructor-led in-house classes
1 hour = 45 minutes
For self-study materials, time given is as below:
Online lessons / Self-study / E-learning materials
1 hour = 60 minutes online self-study
Both online and traditional (at-school) class attendance, and time spent on self-study materials online, will be counted and shown on your course certificates.
