Yes, you can!
For most language courses, you can pause your course access at any time and then reactivate once you are ready to continue.
Go to your student homepage page.
Click the "three dots" on the top right of your course access and use the "My Subscription" option.
This will pop up another box showing your subscription information. Again, click he "three dots" on the top right of this box. You will see "Pause" course at the top of the list.
Pausing the subscription does not change your renewal dates. Instead, the pause will give you a credit that will be applied to your next invoice. Please note that a paused subscription that is paused at the time of your renewal date, will not be charge on the renewal date. Instead, the accounting system will calculate the used and unused study and credit/charge your account on the next renewal date after your course is active again.
Pausing a subscription is not the same as canceling your subscription. A paused subscription will automatically resume after 1 year, and you will again be charged monthly.
Pausing your subscription takes effect immediately.
The minimum pause duration is seven (7) days. After this, you will be able to reactivate the subscription at any time.
After reactivating your paused subscription, you will not be able to pause again until seven (7) days later. Use your pauses wisely!
While the subscription is paused, no further charges will be made to your credit card.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CHARGES AFTER I REACTIVATE MY SUBSCRIPTION?
A membership pause creates a credit that will be applied to your next invoice once your subscription is unpaused (active). For example, if you pause your subscription for a week (about 1/4 of your monthly fee), your next invoice will have that week credited to your next month's subscription fee. On each payment date, you pay for the coming month's course access (subscription).
If you decide to cancel your subscription, this credit balance will remain in your account within our system and can be used on your next purchase. We do not refund any credit from a pause, but we can offer a coupon for the amount, which can be used for a course in the future.
I DON'T SEE AN OPTION TO PAUSE MY SUBSCRIPTION. WHAT DO I DO?
Not all courses have the option to be paused. If you do not see a pause option on your profile, you can reach out to the Customer Service team and ask them for help.
If your course access period has ended, you can sign up for a new course here or request a course renewal.
