Yes, you can!
For most of our language courses, you can pause your course access at any time and then reactivate once you are ready to continue.
Go to your student homepage page.
Click the "three dots" on the top right of your course access and use the "My Subscription" option.
This will pop up another box showing your subscription information. Again, click he "three dots" on the top right of this box. You will see "Pause" course at the top of the list.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Pausing your subscription does not change your renewal dates. Instead, pausing will give you a credit that will be applied to your next invoice. Please note, if your subscription is paused on your renewal date, you will not be charged on that date. Instead, the system will calculate the used and unused study time and charge your account on the next renewal date after your subscription becomes active again.
Pausing a subscription is different from canceling it. A paused subscription will automatically resume after 1 year, and you will be charged monthly again.
The pause takes effect immediately.
The minimum pause duration is seven (7) days. After this period, you can reactivate your subscription at any time.
Once you reactivate a paused subscription, you cannot pause it again until seven (7) days later. Use your pauses wisely!
While the subscription is paused, no further charges will be made to your credit card.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CHARGES AFTER I REACTIVATE MY SUBSCRIPTION?
When you pause your membership, a credit is created that will be applied to your next invoice once your subscription becomes active again. For example, if you pause your subscription for a week (approximately 1/4 of your monthly fee), that week will be credited towards your next month's subscription fee. You pay for your course access for the upcoming month on each payment date (subscription).
If you choose to cancel your subscription, any remaining credit balance will stay in your account within our system and can be used for your next purchase. We do not refund credits from pauses, but we can offer a coupon for the amount, which can be used for a future course.
I DON'T SEE AN OPTION TO PAUSE MY SUBSCRIPTION. WHAT DO I DO?
Not all courses have the option to be paused. If you do not see a pause option on your profile, you can reach out to the Customer Service team and ask them for help.
If your course access period has ended, you can sign up for a new course here or request a course renewal.
