The online classroom is a class / lesson in the form of a video conference with your teacher and other students. We register attendance for these classes / lessons, and all hours are counted towards your certificate.
Please note that:
You must be on time for the class. Joining the class more than 15 minutes after the class has started is not be allowed.
The teacher updates attendance within 48 hours of a completed class. Even if the system lists you as absent, please be patient while the teacher updates the attendance accordingly. It is standard procedure that you are listed as 'absent' until the attendance has been updated by the teacher.
In order to attend the online classroom, you need to follow these steps.
PC / Mac users - download and install the Adobe Connect browser add-in. This step is not strictly required but it makes your meeting connection more stable.
iOS users -download the Adobe Connect app for iOS
Android users - download the Adobe Connect app for Android devices
How to access your class (meeting)
Navigate to your member page or calendar
Find the class you want to join, and click the button Join meeting.
โNote: You may need to click Reserve seat first in order to see the button to join the meeting if this meeting has limited seats.Once you click on Join meeting, Adobe Connect will open up and automatically take you into the online classroom.
