In the Norwegian academic context, it is the regular industry practice to count hours as 45 clock minutes (academic hour length). This is also our practice at Lingu for all live classes in traditional (at-school-based) and virtual classrooms. However, depending on the type of training program you attend, there are some variations to this rule.

​1 hour = 60 minutes online self-study

​Instructor-led (live) online classes
​1 hour = 45 minutes

​Instructor-led in-house classes
​1 hour = 45 minutes

Both virtual and traditional (at-school-based) class attendance, and time spent on the self-study materials online, will be counted and summarised on your course certificates.
